General Description: This position will handle incoming and outgoing inventory for individual store and outside sales needs at our Sioux Falls, SD location.  The warehouse associate will be organizing, staging loads for next day deliveries and loading skids on Sioux Nation delivery trucks.  Knowledge of the Ag industry a plus. Responsibilities and Duties:
  • Load and unload feedbags, products, and other incoming inventory
  • Greet vendors and customers in a professional manner
  • Ability to help in the store pending high traffic needs
  • Operate forklift or manual pallet lift for warehouse needs
  • Maintain vehicle fleet through proper maintenance
  • Arrange for back up or rental equipment when necessary
  • Assist with property maintenance and store repairs as needed
  • May be required to pass pre-employment physical as position requires bending, stooping, standing for hours, pulling and lifting up to 70lbs.
  • Work schedule is Monday – Friday with normal day working hours.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Sioux Nation Ag Center on location in Sioux Falls, SD is looking for a customer service-oriented person to fill the full time Inside Sales position. This person will be part of a small team of sales staff providing customer service and sales at the front counter and over the phone during business hours.  Applicants should be personable and have the ability to prioritize customer service.  Experience in the animal health industry with products, feed, nutrition and procedures, particularly with cattle is preferred.  In addition, ideal candidates will be proficient with computers and various technology or be willing and able to learn.  General knowledge of the industry and locations a plus. This is a Monday-Friday position working 40 hrs a week and includes benefits and competitive pay! Duties include the following:
  • Staff front sales desk when needed as part of rotation with other staff members.
  • Answer customer questions regarding products and services provided by Sioux Nation
  • Load customer feed orders, including lifting bags and using the forklift
  • Track customer orders
  • Take deposits to the bank and replenish change in cash drawer
  • Daily sales reporting
  • Daily inventory ordering
  • Inventory counting and management of expired inventory
  • Manage and purchase office supplies and postage stamps
  • Input accounts payable invoices
  • Print and mail monthly billing statements
  • Responsible for the cleanliness and organization of store

Someone who is a hard worker and is willing to learn or try new tasks will excel in this role. Sioux Nation Ag Center is a great fit for candidates who have great customer service and communication skills and understands that our success is measured by the success of our producers. Training Required: DVM Degrees, USDA accreditation, and South Dakota license Experience Desired: New graduate or seasoned veterinarian Salary: Negotiable Benefits: $2,000 college tuition bonus, $2,000 sign on bonus, $1,000 relocation bonus, matching 401K retirement fund, Health/Dental/Vision insurance, licensing fees, organization dues, paid CE, liability insurance, clothing stipend, paid time off, cell phone, truck and tools.
