Veterinary Assistant – Part Time

Sioux Nation Ag Center is currently looking for a Part-Time Veterinarian Assistant for our Kimball, SD location.

The Veterinary Assistant will assist with all aspects of cattle care. This person should enjoy working with cattle and large animals and possess great customer interaction skills, as a majority of the workday will be spent around producers. A friendly, flexible personality would be an asset to this position. The Vet Assistant will spend most of the workday on his/her feet and moving around. Previous experience working with cattle would be a plus, yet is not a requirement.

Responsibilities:
• Moving cattle into and out of alleys, pens and chutes
• Administering vaccinations
• Inserting ear tags
