Inside Office Sales

Sioux Nation Ag Center on location in Marshall, MN is looking for a customer service-oriented person to fill the full time Inside Counter/Salesperson position.

This person will provide customer service and sales at the front counter and over the phone during business hours at the Marshall, Minnesota store.

Applicants should be personable and have the ability to prioritize customer service.  Experience in the animal health industry with products, feed, nutrition and procedures, particularly with cattle is preferred.  In addition, ideal candidates will be proficient with computers and various technology or be willing and able to learn, have the ability to lift at least 50 pounds, and are either able to drive or be willing to learn how to drive a forklift. General knowledge of the local market and surrounding area would be considered a plus.

Duties include the following:

• Answer customer questions regarding products and services provided by Sioux Nation Ag
• Load customer feed orders, including lifting bags and using the forklift
• Track customer orders
• Take deposits to the bank and replenish change in cash drawer
• Daily sales reporting
• Daily inventory ordering / purchasing
• Inventory counting and management of expired inventory
• Input accounts payable invoices
• Print and mail monthly billing statements
• Responsible for the cleanliness and organization of store
