This is going to be an extremely short Swine Morsels segment.  It’s right to the point and adaptable to every swine finishing farm.  I learned it from a new Master Pork Producer here in South Dakota.  Are you ready?

In addition to all the other things we do to try to prevent “out of feed events” check this out.
To prevent HBS, get in the pens twice every day and get the pigs up and encourage them to go eat.  You may have to nudge pigs to the feeder.
